Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Strikes Again: Chinese Flag By the White House

My dear friend Loopy Libertarian posted a comment (below) on my last post, suggesting that President Obama form some sort of new government department to help with protocol issues. Loopy thought "State Department" might be a good name. I responded with more sarcasm: What next? Foreign flags over the White House? And then... to my horror... I remembered this little episode from last month. As I wrote before: Oh. My. God.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, indeed.

One thing, it wasn't at the White House, it was at the Ellipse. But the Chinese flag should have been lower than the US flag. *sigh* Stupid peoples.

Too close for comfort. Can you see us doing the reverse of this at Tianenmen Square?
