Soldier-Hating Code Pink Rallies 'Round Alleged Serial Traitor Bradley Manning: A Legacy Thing

The rotten apple never falls far from the tree...

Today Code Pink descends upon Quantico Marine Corps Base in support of alleged serial traitor Bradley Manning. The Army PFC currenly lives at the Quantico brig because he is suspected of being a turncoat of monumental proportions, sending soldiers and noncombatants alike to their deaths. Code Pink says Manning's antics are totally cool. The antimilitary group is appearing en masse today to continue the old soldier-dissing tradition previously seen during the Vietnam War. Looks like it might be a legacy thing.

When announcing today's rally, CP sent supporters this note: Thank you for turning this leak into a tsunami of anti-war pressure, Bonnie.. Jodie, Medea....

The "Jodie" listed above is dedicated military detractor Jodie Evans, who - according to Free Republic -has been in on all sorts of antimilitary adventures, and has endsorsed the enemy in Iraq.

Rumor has it that the Evans girl's papa is the infamous Jody from the 1960's and early 1970's. His soft-living, draft-dodging antics plagued our soldiers fighting in Vietnam. Remember the songs?

"Ain't no use in going home; Jody's got your girl and gone. Ain't no use in feeling blue; Jody's got your sister, too. Ain't no use in lookin' back; Jody's got your Cadillac..."

He must be real proud to see the continued fruit of his disrespect. My, how the rot has spread.

Note: This pic was swiped off the web from an earlier event. Snaps of today's hijinks will be posted/linked later and elsewhere!

Update: I had a couple of comms with CP cofounder Medea Benjamin. She says this picture was photoshopped. She thinks the folks at Free Republic might have done it: "They photoshop our fotos all the time." Freepers, you watching? Any rebuttals?

Yes, this was a photoshopped pic. Wonder how many you will photoshop with libelous messages from today's rally.

Numbers today from the rally in Quantico --
Those wanting Bradley to be released and thanked for being a whistleblower: 92

The right-wing Freepers/Protest Warriors: 8

I didn't PS anything. This pic came from the web, and is identified as such.
As for the rally - your tally is off, but even so, this is not about who can rouse the most people to show up at a given place/time. Your hero has blood on his hands. Please think about that. Under Taliban command, he never would have the opportunity even to voice dissent - and neither would you.

This is truly a disgusting event!! How can ANYONE call themselves an american citizen and say this about our troops??? I have many friends and family in the military and they are trying to protect us so that we can protest things! And Susan you are right... the Taliban would NEVER let anyone protest anything like this!
