A Missive From MiniCapt: The Trailer for "War Horse," Triggering Allergies

If the trailer makes me cry, I guess it means I'm going to break my voluntary and much nurtured Movie Drought, and head for the theater. The last time I saw anything that wasn't We Were Soldiers, Black Hawk Down or Patton was last year, when I made the trek to watch True Grit on the big screen. Now, though, our intrepid MiniCapt has sent me a link to the official film website for War Horse, which opens on Christmas Day. As soon as I started watching the trailer, my allergies began acting up. I love war movies, and I have a soft spot for tales of heroic four-footers - especially if they are equine. Plus, the horse character reminded me of the great Risty, my Sacred Horse From Childhood. "Be brave! Be brave!" Yes, indeedy....this earns MiniC two free passes out of Campfire Duty.

Huh. And here I thought an Official War Horse Trailer was the equine conveyance they hitched behind an MRAP.

Ya live and ya learn...

I thought that was called a PRAM. Oh wait. That's for babies. In the UK. But I got the country right...

No the Official War Horse Trailer is the chap who follows the parade with the Pooper-scooper-upper.

Cheers
