I learned it in Vietnam.
Actually, the question should be phrased: "What does a Marine say when he sees a wop-wop?"
Cheers
Huh. I didn't know Canadians called helicopters "wop-wops"...
Aaaah, yo -- scooch a' min'! Wha's wid dis "wop-wop" cose, eh? No lasagna fo' you!
… and they call Kiowas "Loachs".
Cheers
Cayuses (OH-6As) were Loachs. Kiowas (OH-58s) are Sky Scooters.
Those of us who flew Loachs refer to the Kiowa as the OH-5.8 -- because it's not quite as good as a 6...
... and they're made in Canada ...
Cheers
No purpose can be served from this rude and sarcastic commentary. We should all take turns speaking respectfully.
Up your hose,
with a rubber nose.
Cheers
Such brutes. I don't even know why I deign to come here.
Susan, you never answered this. Maybe you could enlighten us? And, while I am making requests, could I ask you to please sign my books? I have three copies, all in excellent shape. I would be interested in discussing your book with you, if you don't mind. I was particularly interested to read about the Robert Garwood case.
MG - Sure, I'd be happy to. Shoot me an email, and I'll scrounge up a pen somewhere.
Garwood was an interesting case. There is no question that he collaborated with the enemy. I even found eyewitnesses who i.d.'d him in a lineup as having engaged against them in a firefight. He was with the VC, fighting U.S. Marines. And yet, he has supporters. They have twisted themselves into Gordian knots ISO reasons to do so, but yet - believe it or not, they support him.
