Talks Have Been Progressing Late Into the Night Re Marines in Darwin
I wonder if it has anything to do with Cuzzie Lois offering to bake lemon bars for the Marines? Whatever the reason... the Big Guys are trying to work out the details on deploying that Marine unit to Australia later this year. Adm. Jonathan Greenert, chief of naval operations, said Saturday that he is hashing it out with Gen. Jim Amos, the Marine Commandant. I'm telling ya, guys. Whatever you decide: make sure the deal includes my cousin's lemon bars! The perfect pre-beer snack!

They're probably still calculating how many Canadian exchange personnel are necessary to ensure viability.
