Anonymous the Genuine: What is the Polly Grief series all about, anyway?
SKK: It's part of the Summer Fiction series. It's humor. Parody. All for a laugh.
SKK: Hey, Mossback - how did you think of this story, anyway?
Old Mossback: Dear Susan, It was you who gave me the idea of the Polly stories when you e-mailed that you heard that "She" may have turned it around in her new post-Navy life. I am sure after the first chapter is released, we will hear from (Anonymous) about bashing Her.
SKK: Funny you should metion that.
Old Mossback: I think if you really look at the Polly saga, I am being kind. For instance:
1) Polly drove away from Dull Green in a Stanza, and before she went on to the I-64 ramp was driving a 1970 American Motors AMX.
2) Polly decided to chuck it all and drive to Florida.
3) She ended up in Orlando working at Disneyworld
4) She now has a new attitude and is liked by her co-workers.
Florida is famous for people reinventing themselves. Hemingway, Flager, Edison, Ted Bundy (oops; bad example). With the exception of Ted, they all turned a page in their lives.
SKK: Roger that. Carry on.
Marine Guy: Somebody help me. I am choking from the laughter.
