When Your F-15 is So Excited About Christmas He Cannot Get to Sleep...

......what's left for you to do but play a few soft hangar tunes to help him drift off?

In actual fact, this is the Langley Air Force Base Winds ensemble, playing last year
for members of Seymour Johnson USAF Base in North Carolina.
The Strike Eagle is backdrop for the performance.
But I wouldn't be surprised if the musicians elicited some purring sounds from that aircraft.
Fighter jets love classical music - or so I'm told.

F-15s do love classical music.

F-18s tend towards classic rock.

F-16s? Sigh, they're all about heavy metal.

Well, that explains why the F-16's didn't respond when I played some Water Music for them. They just couldn't Handel it!
