| My new bugout bag! |
The other day I lamented the sorry state of my field bag, and today - thanks to the Military Luggage Company - I am basking in field bag largesse.
I'm not kidding. The good folks who run the military themed "bags, packs, and cases superstore" sent me a big box of gear, asking only that I tell them what I think of each item.
I shall do that forthwith.
First, I need to stop staring at the awesome bags. They are rough and rugged and ready to deploy, but they also are elegantly designed, like works of art. Courtney laughed when I said I'd hate to get the bags dirty by taking them into the field. It's a good thing they're so intensely practical; otherwise, I might want to put them on display in the living room, alongside the missile tubes.
More to come. Meanwhile, I have to set my old ruck outside on the deck for the Martians. Then back to the bag-basking.

next to the missile tubes and that super cool pic of an F-14 slipping the surly bonds of earth *that is not hanging up even still*
How do you know if the pic is hanging up? Hmmmm?
Be careful, SKK. I might try to mug you for that bag. And did I read that correctly? Missile tubes in the living room?
Missile tubes? In the living room?
She's taking the 2nd Ammendment to a whole new level...and I like it. :-p
Yes. Missile tubes. Thank you, Squid. I will stand by my right to keep missile tubes in my own living room.
Would you mind telling us how you obtained such items?
